Media trainings held in Užice and Čačak
In the scope of the EU-funded project which focuses on increasing the visibility and communication of the results of public administration reform in Serbia, the project team used the opportunity to organize the first media training in the extension of the project, owing to the improved epidemiological conditions.
Suzana Trninić, Project Media Expert, visited the journalists of the local TV stations "Galaxy" in Čačak and "TV5" in Užice, and talked to them about all issues related to the work of these media, when it comes to their reporting about PAR.
In direct work with editors, directors, journalists and TV editors, training participants were given advice on how to overcome the obstacles they encounter in the future when it comes to producing more media stories aimed at bringing the results of PAR closer to citizens and the economy. During the work on the TV station premises, the training participants expressed special interest in even stronger and more frequent cooperation with the Project in order to expand the list of topics related to the promotion of PAR in the Moravica and Zlatibor districts. During the discussion, they shared different experiences they have in contact with public administration and local self-government institutions, expressing readiness to work on the promotion of PAR topics in the coming period, with continued partnership with the Project in the campaign to increase the visibility of PAR results.
PAR Visibility & Communication Project, during its successful implementation of the first phase, produced in cooperation with national and local media a large number of media stories, interviews and reports. In the extension of the project, the campaign under the working title "PAR is..." did not stop: on the contrary, during May and June 2021, citizens and businesses were presented the topics which promoted the new PAR Strategy, the Central Population Register and the Administrative Procedures Register Portal. The campaign will continue according to the adopted communication plan, which is also a part of the PAR Strategy itself.
